This was my first visit to Five Star Autocentre, and it certainly won't be my last. They took very good care of me and my car and the valet was a pleasant surprise when I picked... it up. 5 stars for this autocentre. Had a problem on the way home from work and by luck was passing. The car went into lp mode and couldn't be driven. Emma and the team took the car in... overnight. Diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair quote to do the work needed. The work was done and sorted by lunch the next day. Great service and fantastic customer service. I would recommend highly.read more

Excellent, speedy service from Five Star Autocentre. Thought the clutch had pretty much gone and the gearbox was playing - my Ceed was struggling with the narrow road and... challenging hills around Slaithwaite!Car dropped off in the morning and picked up at 5pm same days. Clutch repaired, car cleaned and mobile again. Emma kept me updated during the day and advised on follow on remedial work. Very happy and an easy recommendation.read more

Hi would just like to say how impressed I am with this garage Asif and Emma were so on the ball regarding customer service kept me informed and up to date all the way with my car.... Asif worked so hard and put many hours in on my vehicle sorting out my issue with my TPMS fault, diagnosing and checking my system he eventually found the issue that was caused due to incompetence of another garage so I can’t thank them enough 5 stars. Prior to moving to Scotland 7 years ago, Five Star Autocentre was our go to for our car repairs and servicing and I am delighted to say the service is as good as ever.We were... staying with family in Huddersfield after our weeks vacation and had the promise of a 200 mile journey the following day to look forward to. Upon collecting our car from the airport, we found it juddery and bouncing whilst driving in addition to large thuds whenever hitting any hole the road. With our 2 children in the car the very thought of that long drive with a faulty car was very stressful.We called at 3pm on Saturday afternoon where Asif said he would take a look at it for us even at such short notice. He was true to his word and told us to have a wander while he ran some diagnostics on the car.When we came back he was very clear as to what the issue had been, had sorted the problem and offered other suggestions of things we need to get sorted upon our return to Scotland for the car.He refused to accept any sort of payment for his time spent helping us and made our entire ordeal manageable. Given the length of our journey today, we truly appreciate the efforts, honesty and compassion shown by Asif and the 5* Autocentre and cannot recommend them highly enough.read more

5 star have been looking after my work van since it started having major issues a few weeks back, They have been very responsive & accommodating in keeping my van on the road,... ensuring that I can get to my planned works. Had issues on the weekend with my car which led to it not working. Called five star on Monday first thing to go over my issues and they booked me straight in. After a hour of my... car being on site they called me to advise of what was causing the issues and what needed to be done and also advised what can be done on top to help going forwards.Car was fully repaired by the next day and had a call that it was ready to collect. On collection they go over everything they have done and explain why and go over how it will help going forwards. Asif who worked on my car even stayed over closing time to avoid any delays of it being off the road.Emma was fantastic with her updates throughout the journey and was super helpful upon collection. Been using five star for a few years now and I would highly recommend anyone visiting to get your car fixed by a class team they have!Thank you again!read more

As a young girl I was messed around going to different garages trying to rip me off with prices found five star Autocentre I spoke to a woman called Nikita she was really lovely... and helped me get my car in straight away and looked at they gave it a good look from 9am in the morning til 4pm to really get to the bottom and what was happening with my car they test drove the car couple of times to make sure the problem was getting dealt with car the prices that they were telling me was really fair I recommend 100% Thank you Five start Autocentreread more

My car broke down on a Tuesday evening and i got it towed to Five Star on Wednesday morning, i was fully expecting to wait at least a week before they looked at it. I was met by... Emma who was fabulous and assured me that the car would be looked at today and they would do their best to get me back on the road as quickly as possible...and they did!!!!I really appreciated the WhatsApp video of the diagnosis, and they ordered the parts and fixed my car within two days.I have had so many bad experiences with garages but i have now found "my" garage and the old saying you get what you pay for is spot on.Thank you so muchread more

Excellent service. After months of trying to find a garage able or willing to do the work on our minibus 5star got recommended to me. They were extremely quick to work out the... issue and to get it sorted. All the staff are really helpful and very knowledgeable I will be continuing to take our minibus for the foreseeable. Couldn’t recommend five star Autocentre enough, from the moment I called Emma was super friendly and helpful and were able to get the car in straight away. They have communicated... regularly and advised of any additional works needed. A courtesy car was provided whilst our car was in the garage too. Overall great experience, such a friendly team. I had a bad crash in the snow resulting in my car not driving properly. Took it in to here after ringing all the other garages I could. They took it in and diagnosed I needed a... new steering rack. Cost a fortune but they went to alot of trouble to get it back on the road ASAP as I need my car for work. Great service from beginning to end, even the receptionists are lovely and keep you informed.read more

5 star is an absolutely appropriate name for this garage. We were brought here by the RAC when we broke down 80 miles from home whilst returning from holiday. It was extremely... stressful to know we couldn’t get home without the car staying to be repaired. Not only did they allow us the use of a courtesy car but they kept us informed at regular intervals as to progress and were absolutely clear and honest with the price for the repairs required. Finally returned to Huddersfield today to collect our car. It was so lovely to find not only was it fixed but valeted too! If only we lived nearer this would be our go to garage. A massive thank you to Asif, Emma and Sharon. I had DPF yellow warning light on my Kia Stonic but couldn’t get my car into the Kia dealership until Friday 2 Feb!! Did what it... said in manual but light still on dash. I asked if I could still drive the car but couldn’t get a straight answer from dealership but it was more or less don’t drive it! That would have meant that I couldn’t drive my car for a week until the Friday so I rang Five Star Autocentre who said that I could take the car to them, this was 4.45pm on a Friday afternoon. They carried out diagnostic checks and did a regen. I am very grateful to them and would highly recommend Five Star Autocentre. I know where I will be going in future. Thank youread more

Came here after going to numerous other garages, we were stressed as we had been fobbed off all day, as soon as we walked in we were put at ease all the staff were helpful and... friendly. They booked the car in within 48 hours, we were given a courtesy car free of charge which helped massively with the school run. Within an hour we got a call to say car was ready and was only a fuse that had gone. £2 charge. Highly recommend thank you to Emma Keighely and Asif much appreciated x will definetly be using you in the futureread more

Five Star have been my saving grace on a number of occasions now, and as a relatively new driver, I can't tell you how much of a relief it is to know that every time I turn up at... Five Star, I'm in the safest of hands. It's also rare to find a garage that isn't a giant male-fest, where you don't feel like you're being lied to, condescended, and made to feel daft.Emma (I think it's Emma??) is an absolute breath of fresh air, and yesterday went way above to make sure I could get to my wedding dress fitting in Leeds after I (stupidly) attempted to use my frozen driver-side window. Yep, it fell out. I took it straight there at 8:30am, flapping about missing my dress fitting, when Emma rang at 10am letting me know it would be ready for lunch time!Also, my car is magically returned to me sparkling clean (inside and out!) every time I visit Five Star, which is great when you're too lazy to hoover your car out 😇Thanks again Five Star! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟read more
